S*GATE is a state-of-the-art multi-lane free-flow toll collection solution based on artificial intelligence, 3D tracking and machine learning technologies. It ensures the highest level of accuracy in vehicle detection and classification under all conditions.

The innovative capacity of S*GATE comes from the combined use of AI and vehicle 3D tracking, applied to real-time video analysis of vehicle flows. The advanced use of gantry technology benefits both performance and Total Cost of Ownership as it reduces field-level electronics and, consequently, supply, installation and maintenance costs. Open to integration with other devices, designed without in-road sensors and with a view to easy maintenance, the system also lends itself to simple configuration with “plug & play” functionalities or, as we say at Sinelec, “plug & toll”.

The modular architecture of the software, entirely based on microservices built on Docker, allows the system to be modelled simply and effectively. What’s more, S*GATE provides a comprehensive reporting tool; its data can then be organised based on specific customer requirements, according to the immediacy and user-friendliness characteristic of the entire solution, as its complexity is concealed by a decidedly user-friendly front-end.
